As required by the State of California, San Carlos is evaluating ways to allow for a minimum of 2,735 new homes in the city through the year 2031.

Please join us as we present development case studies along El Camino Real. These case studies will show how much housing is possible using existing zoning standards, and will also show how much more housing is possible by adjusting height limits and parking standards. At this workshop, San Carlos hopes to learn what level of support the community may have for potential modifications to the zoning ordinance in order to meet San Carlos’ Regional Housing Needs Allocation (“RHNA”) of at least 2,735 new homes to the year 2031.

We need your feedback to see how much housing we can accommodate in the areas of the City that have maximum development potential.

The results from this virtual workshop will provide specific direction to the team as it plans for San Carlos to successfully meet its housing needs.

Please join us by signing up here https://sancarlos2040-workshop4.eventbrite.com. Meeting details for this virtual workshop will be sent to you by Monday, August 9, 2021.
