PROJECT: Environmental Impact Report for the City of San Carlos Focused General Plan Update: Housing, Land Use, and Safety Elements and Accompanying Zoning Ordinance Amendments   

The City of San Carlos announced the start of a 45-day public response period for the Notice of Preparation (NOP) under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the above referenced project. The purpose of this NOP was to request comments on the scope and content of the Environmental Impact Report that San Carlos will prepare for the City of San Carlos Focused General Plan Update: Housing, Land Use, and Safety Elements and Accompanying Zoning Ordinance Amendments Project. Comment was requested from state responsible and trustee agencies, federal agencies, and any other person or organization concerned with the potential environmental effects of the project.

COMMENT PERIOD: A 45-day public review period for the NOP began on December 17, 2021, and ended on January 31, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Thank you to those who provided comments.
